Exploring the Fundamentals of Physics

In this course, you’ll delve into the fascinating world of physics, exploring the principles that govern the natural world.

You’ll discover:

•  Kinematics: the study of motion, with a focus on linear motion
•  Forces: understanding the different types of forces that shape our universe
•  Energy transformations: how energy changes from one form to another
•  Mechanical waves and sound: the properties and behaviours of waves and sound
•  Electricity and magnetism: the fundamental principles of electricity and magnetism

Through hands-on scientific investigations, you’ll develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills as you test the laws of physics.

You’ll also explore the connections between physics and technology, and consider the impact of technological applications of physics on our society and the environment.

Students will learn how to draw position-time, velocity-time, and acceleration-time graphs and develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills by working on the simulation labs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Unit 2: Forces ” tab_id=”1730799398234-6d110a16-a300″][vc_column_text]In this unit, students will develop an understanding of different force types, Newton’s law of motion, net force, friction, and the physics of cars. Further, students will investigate Ohm’s law, the relation between electricity and magnetism, and apply their learning to simulations while developing problem-solving skills with electric circuits.
